Dr. Hockenbury answered a plethora of surgery questions, pre and post op type, thoughtfully and authoritatively. He exuded confidence in himself and in the surgery outcome and that was a welcomed result of the consult!

I had an immediate need to be cared for with a broken ankle. I was very relieved to find a Dr. Hockenberry at the U of L system.

The time of arrival to the actual exam was almost an hour.

Front desk staff was rude. Did not answer properly.

Dr. Hockenberry is the absolute best. He could use an additional provider to also see patients. There were only 2 providers that day and things were pretty backed up. In spite of this, he took time to explain my progress and review X-rays. The receptionist was very kind. She made a very professional general announcement to the waiting area about the delay, advising us of the delay and the reason for the delay. It was very much appreciated.

I'm my opinion, Dr Hockenbury is definitely an expert in foot and ankle and I would have no other doctor care for me regarding foot/ankle issues.

Not only did he treat the problem I came to see him for, but there was another problem that I couldn't resolve, no matter how many Doctors I had seen about this problem, until I told him about it because I was tired and frustrated. He took time to listen, and he help me and did what he could to alleviate my discomfort. I am so grateful.

Les works at the front desk and checks people in for their appointments. She is very kind, friendly and professional. I remember her from a previous visit and am impressed with her compassionate, caring attitude. Les is a wonderful asset to the practice and I hope she is appreciated for all that she does to comfort those of us dealing with health issues. She is amazing!
