Due to chemo diarrhea I was unable to make my appointment on time and ended up very late. Yet I was treated immediately and with much understanding and respect. I also received a phone message the following day about some of my test results! Very good!

This was my regular 3mos Diabetes follow up checkup. It went really well and Michelle Mike Nichols is very thouorgh and commited to helping me keep my Diabetes and A1C in line. She's an excellent ARNP.

The office personnel know your name and they are very kind and helpful, and respectful. When I have questions on medical issues I am always contacted back with an answer.

I have been to this practice for 23 years. I have always received excellent care.

I was surprised how I was treated by Michelle, she didn't ask me why I did what I was doing. She just made it seem like I am making poor decisions. However, once I explained the reasoning, she agreed with my rationale. I wish she would've asked for an explanation first, rather than treating me the way she did. I take pride in taking care of my health concerns, and at no time did Michelle say hey, you are doing this or that very well good job. It was a very negative visit and I did not appreciate it.

This is not my usual endocrinologist. My original appointment I got caught in traffic and had to reschedule (this was back in June) and was originally going to have to wait until 8/17 to be seen. I was given a sooner appointment. Michelle did not address how high my blood pressure was, spent most of the time grilling me about my old blood test results, told me I shouldn't get pregnant (which I agree) but didn't prescribe me any birth control, even though I asked for some, and told her which brand I prefer. I suffer from depression and have had some issues making appointments due to my work schedule. When I asked for a refill of Prozac, she refused. I had a therapy session a few days later where I was told Prozac isn't a controlled substance and that she could have filled it. Before this, I did go in My Chart and request it from my PCP who refilled it without question. She treated me like I didn't care about my health without really listening to me, even changing my answers to what she thought they were. My old lab test my A1C was 13 which I know is really bad. There's a reason for it, which she didn't bother to ask. She assumed I have kidney damage, but all the blood test she ran that day not only indicates my A1C went down, but that there is nothing wrong with my kidneys. If I ever have to see a different endocrinologist other than my own, I hope it isn't Michelle.

I really felt 'unimportant' during this visit. I had concerns that were passed to provider that were 'discounted' or referred me to 'follow up with a different doctor'. It felt rushed too....probably only in the room with provider for what seemed like less than 5 minutes.

Michelle is knowledgeable and knows her profession.
