We're All About Kids!

General Pediatrics Dr. Jones

Every child needs a doctor to see them through the milestones and hurdles of childhood. Our pediatricians are uniquely prepared to help families with that journey.

The doctors of UofL Pediatrics are advocates for children, committed to providing excellent care to every child from birth through 18 years of age.

Why choose UofL Pediatrics?

  • Our pediatricians in Louisville are at the leading-edge of pediatric medicine. In addition to providing state-of-the-art clinical care, we are teachers and researchers in the UofL School of Medicine who help the doctors of tomorrow learn the art and science of medicine.
  • We are researchers and leaders in the world of children’s health care. We are involved with research on obesityasthma, emergency preparedness, ethics and much more.
  • Bi-lingual physicians are available at the following locations: Downtown, Sam Swope Kosair Charities Centre and Stonestreet.
  • Our  pediatrics practices are part of a network of approximately 180 pediatric specialists from virtually every major area of pediatrics. That means we have easy access to a wealth of expertise, which is important when your child’s acute or chronic disease requires more than a routine visit to the pediatrician.
  • Our three UofL Physicians – General Pediatrics clinics have earned Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) designation by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.

Our hours vary so please check with each location to verify the hours and contact information.

All payment types are accepted.

Our general pediatricians in Louisville have a variety of health care interests and hail from numerous corners of the U.S. and the world. They offer special expertise in adolescent medicine, newborn care, parenting, immigrant healthcare, child abuse, weight management and acute and chronic illness. We recruit doctors who truly care about the well-being of their patients and their families, and as a result, our practices offer services not typically found in a general pediatrics office.

Many of our Louisville pediatricians are active on state and national levels in research, advocacy and medical education, working with organizations such as the state and national chapters of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Ambulatory Pediatric Association and the American Association of Medical Colleges.

Some of our providers also speak Spanish, and are available to see patients in need of a Spanish-speaking provider.

Our physicians also work with resident students from the University of Louisville School of Medicine to train them for future medical careers. Click here to meet our current residents.
