Free lecture Feb. 23 focuses on stress management

Stress management will be the topic of February’s “Building Hope” lecture Thursday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. The event is sponsored by the UofL Depression Center, part of University Psychiatric Foundation, UofL Physicians’ full-service mental health practice.

“Mindfulness Meditation: Taking the Stress Out of Stress Management” will be presented by Paul Salmon, Ph.D., Associate Professor, UofL Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences. The lecture is free and will be held at Second Presbyterian Church, 3701 Old Brownsboro Rd.
