Gastrointestinal cancers include those of the esophagus, stomach, pancreas, bile duct, liver, colon, rectum, anus, intestines and peritoneum. In the past decade, several therapeutic advances have led to better treatment options and improved outcomes for patients with these cancers. The multidisciplinary gastrointestinal cancer team at UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center provides the highest level of clinical care available to treat these cancers.
