Hello. I was scheduled to see Dr. Pasic but unfortunately never saw him for my visit contrary to what my notes say on mychart. I arrived early was taken back to my room with little wait. However Dr Pasic was not in the dr office that was listed on my appt. He was moved to a different office than my appt said he would be but wasn't not notified of the change. Once in my room I was met by a very kind nurse who went over all of my history. This was not my first time with dr pasic but because it had been a length of time between appts it was approached as my first time. I gave them all of my history and concerns. Then she left the room. A student then comes into the room and I repeat this process all over again with repeating my histories with her and my current concerns. I was told to wait.. I was then told to do an u/s . The lady that the u/s was very kind, calm and explained everything in detail that was easy to follow. I was then taken back to my room. A few moments later the student pops in with the door; standing with it open and asks me if I have ever tested positive or have stds. That should not have happened with the door open regardless of me not having stds. I then waited for a very long time. My appt was at 2:30 and I didn't see the doctor until 4:00. I will mention again that I scheduled with dr.pasic and that was not the doctor that I saw. I saw him in the hallways but not in my room talking with me about my care. Once the doctor came in the room with the student at 4:00; She introduced herself and began to talk about my concerns that I had shared with the student. I mentioned my concerns with pain in my pelvic area, pain when empty my bladder, pain in my rear end. I told her about the pain in my breast, and how I was itching all over. I also went over my diagnosis with my leg. This doctor was careless in her approach with me. Before she met with me she had already made her mind up and regardless of what I said it didn't seem to change her approach. We spoke for a little and she said she wanted to do a pelvic exam and gave me a cover. I then asked about the breast exam part and she gave me a top but told me I could keep my bra on. She exited the room and I undressed. When she entered the room she was professional in how she began. Told me she would first be using her hand and then she used the tool to open my pelvic region. I believe the pelvic exam was very rough. When I was asked if I was in pain and I said yes she continued to push. I was in tears. She then asked me if I knew that I was red inside my vagina and I asked her what she meant because how do I know what the inside of my vagina looks like? She said that I has discharge and it looks like a diaper rash. ( I have a birthmark that covers portions of my lower body and my vagina)She said it looks to her like a yeast infection and asked if she could swap it. I was clear that I didn't think it was because I had been tested multiple times and it has always been negative despite the pain I feel. I told her she could test me for yeast. I found out on Monday that I was tested for multiple things including STDS. The test results came back Monday on mychart clear of STDs, yeast and bv but no one called me to tell me results or next steps. After she finished the pelvic exam, she moved onto my breast. She had me slide my bra down and show her the area that was bothering me and touched the spot and told me it looked fine and no lump. She did not do a full exam on that breast even though I told her repeatedly that I have pain that area. She touched it and then moved on. I was not satisfied with the experience and how I was treated. She then went onto her findings while I was stillNaked on the table and exposed. She told me that they didn't see anything on the u/s and I told her that endometriosis can't be seen on a u/s and she told me I was correct. She went into an explanation while I was still nude on the table covered up in a torn paper cover. I had to stop her and ask if I could get dressed since she was done with the exam and went straight into her thoughts. After she came back into the room and I was fully dressed. I told her that her approach and what she said to me was not helpful. She agreed and I told her I needed her to acknowledge it was not productive and she agreed.I told her I needed steps on what to do with the amount of pain I was in and didn't need feel her approach was justified. She kept bringing up utis/yeast infection but I had to interject and explain that I have been tested many times for those and always negative and I'm still in pain in my pelvic area. She told me a reason they did one of the u/s was to look for something on my bladder but I was not told that was the intent. I was no explained or agreed to the why behind my test. Only afterwards was it explained because my ultrasound was clear. She explained to me that drs get frustrated because it's rare that this happens that endometriosis is removed and pain comes back and that was an untrue and misleading statement. She didn't tell me what to do with breast pain so I asked if I could get a mammogram without a dr and she said she could prescribe me one if I wanted. I asked about what to do with my entire body itching and she said well you don't really have the symptoms to be in menopause because you have pain while you ovulate. She then asked do I have hot flashes, yes. Do I have mood swings, yes. She then said she can order a hormone test. She could prescribe estrogen hormones but I said shouldn't we test to make sure I'm low first. I asked if it affects weight and she said it's just water weight. Which made me question if that would affect negatively my lymphatic issues and she said she didn't know. She then said all she could offer me was surgery and even that doesn't come with guarantees that it will show what the problem is. I told her I wanted the surgery because I needed to know if endometriosis was the reason why I was in pain. She then had the student leave to get paperwork. She then came back and we spoke some more and I was then escorted to schedule but everything was closed because it was after 5. Bloodwork closed and scheduling closed. I drove from Owensboro KY and didn't see the dr I needed, was made to wait for hours only to be made to feel like I was forcing the dr to help me. I am beyond disappointed in my level of care that I received and want to speak to someone further about my experience.

I am so very grateful for Dr. Resad Pasic and his colleague Dr. Hanna. From my very first visit I cam in that clinic with loss of hope for my condition. However that all changed from my very first visit I was impressed and my hope had been restored. I was head and never dismissed my questions had been answered, I then had surgery with Dr. Pasic and his colleagues and I've had the best results since. I trust him and his staff their level of expertise, skill and knowledge is phenomenal they are changing the world for many women who suffer from the same condition I have. Any other problems I continue to have I know I can rely and trust them with my care they are phenomenal. They listen and they answer questions and they show concern.

He could have stopped and introduced himself before coming in for a pelvic exam. Also if you're gonna be in there then do it from the start, don't barge in after it's already started. I understand being in a hurry and having other patients but it would have took two seconds to say hello, this is who I am and this is what I'll be doing. It may be a regular day for him but for patients it's awkward, uncomfortable and stressful. And the resident doesn't need to run his hand from a woman's lower thigh up to her vagina to do a pelvic exam. That's creepy, more awkward and unsettling. I can see how it can be an attempt at letting me know where his hand is and all but it really made me uncomfortable and uneasy. Maybe that's just me, I have PTSD from past abuse but that really did not help make me feel better.

I was blown away by the treatment I received my Dr. Pasic and his team. Dr. Baker was absolutely lovely, and made me feel safe and heard in my appointment. I absolutely felt like this team cared about me as an individual and I am so happy I was referred to them for my future treatment.

Although the experience was good, all technical personnel, fellows, and training were competent. I never met Dr.Pasic only his assistants.
