I met with an MD physician, and he was engaged, alert to my concerns, helped me to look at the advantages and disadvantages of the treatments that were possible And guided me to make some choices that are in my best interest in the long run.

Dr. Carter made time for me late in his day on a Friday afternoon. I appreciate that, and the fact that he apologized for running late (which I perfectly understood). We discussed some things that were causing me fear and anxiety, and like always he did not make me feel stupid for having these feelings. I appreciate being able to read his "after visit summary" on MyChart because it is his objective, scientific observations of my behavior renderred in a dispassionate narrative. I need that.

My appt. Was at 9:45. I was seen before my time. Which it was good because I just finished a 12 hr. Shift of work. It didn't take them long at all to call me back.
